A closely matched, hardly fought and exciting game.
Unfortunately, it was concluded by an elbow injury picked up by our talented centered back Henry, who represented TWEH in this game. A bad night in this aspect.
Concentration seemed to be the main theme of this match. The outstanding performance of the two goal keepers should earn them men of the match awards. Both teams played highly concentrated football in defence and a draw game reflected their good effort.
Yuen, I am sorry that your nicely taken goal will not be counted in our statistics. Should we deduct one goal from your account as penalty?

Bong nets a brace

A cool night, a goal scoring night.
Bong's name should be on the score sheet for a few more times. Sometimes it's just a matter of luck. But the goal of the match inarguably goes to Fan's half volley, a shot that recalls my memory on Marco van Basten's legendary volley against the best ever Soviet goalie Rinat Dasaev, simply wonderful.
It is noteworthy that Kevin ends his scoring draught by a beautifully taken close range tap. Yes Kevin, this is 2009, happy New Year!
And poor Captain Alwin, where is your scoring machine gun???
