Match Review 21-6-07

We have a wonderful victory of 4:0 vs Yuen Lo Team. Once again, it proves that with regular pitches and practice, our team improves a lot.

We had the upper hand throughout the whole match. In the first half of the match, they could still resist our attack by losing only one goal. But in the second half, when they ran out of energy, we dominated the midfield and intercepted all their passes. They couldn't even construct an effective attack against us.

Dear bros,
With regular pitches and practice, I think our team improve a lot.

Thanks all the players who attended the match (Regular players: Woo, David, Lung, Kevin) . The weather was bad, as you could expect, but acceptable by a group of "soccer-holics". We went behind soon after the match started due to a defense error, no one should be blamed except the slippery floor. We pulled back 2 by the outstanding performance of Reny* who scored a double. The goals were beautifully assisted by Kevin and Francis*. We conceded the second goal due to a hesitated clearance, unfortunately a mistake by Woo. In the very last minutes, Woo managed to drive a nice cross from the left, using his left foot (that was extraordinarily rare). Fusee** made a fine touch and deflected the ball to Francis, who scored the winning goal for us.

Many regular players are unable to attend as they are busy preparing for examinations. I here take the chance to wish them good luck. Sure pass!

Although the average age of our opponents is at least 5-10 years younger than us, I think we got the upper hands to them throughout the match. Again, it is our defence line that is to be praised for the small no. of goals we lost.
